One of the greatest dilemmas facing treatment advocates is how to guarantee people in recovery are supported through at least the first year. A common denominator of success is recovery-focused peer support – hence the role of community and connection in our program. We view recovery coaching as a way to ease you into your new day-to-day life. Recovery coaching is a way to start building a village of support and connecting to the community resources that will ensure sustainability. Recovery coaching provides “feet on the street”; your coach will walk alongside you as you face the challenges of early recovery.
Recovery coaches don’t have to be in recovery themselves but they must understand the recovery world and “walk the walk”. In other words, they must live the values they teach. All Integrate recovery coaches follow national standards – including those set by NAADAC and NCCAP – and receive ongoing supervision and training. In addition, each of our coaches have attended the New Hampshire Recovery Coaching Academy.
At this time, recovery coaching is covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicaid. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage, please submit an inquiry via our confidential insurance verification form.
